Jupiter Artland PT 1
I took a trip to Jupiter Artland today, a sculpture park on the 100 acre estate of Bonnington House, a Jacobean manor located just outside Edinburgh. In short, it was fantastic. The grounds were immaculate, and the artworks were all excellent. Each one is different, so from a photographers point of view it was a brilliant place to go. Around each corner was a new interesting piece of art to shoot.
We walked around the looped route stopping for lunch half way through. We opted for the sharing platter for two, which was one of the best lunches I’ve ever had! Delicious pesto, beautiful duck paté, sun dried tomatoes, a giant hunk of crusty bread all scattered with torn mozzarella, salami and rocket. Seriously amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough.
The only downfall was that their app is over 100mb so you can’t download it onsite, you would need to be on wifi to do so. But other than that, I highly recommend it.
